I always prefer to buy fair trade and ethically manufactured clothing and, particularly when I was buying for my two baby daughters, I would also look for organic cotton. However, I then struggled to find stylish and affordable baby wear for them and this inspired me to start my own business.
I am delighted to be able to announce that, two years later, the “Fozia” label was born.
It began with a search for an ethical and Fair Trade certified factory that would produce the garments in organic cotton. Once I had found my ideal manufacturer in India, I set about creating a collection in collaboration with the talented designer Sarah Hawkins.
The first Fozia baby wear range features bright contemporary colours that mix and match together perfectly for both girls and boys, creating a versatile, fresh and stylish look.
Creating the brand has been a fascinating journey so far and working with factories in India that benefit both the workers and the environment has been especially rewarding.
We have ensured that our clothes are designed to be both stylish and practical; they have been tested in the real world where the choice of cotton and manufacturer has proven quality.
